Cyber-attacks are undoubtedly one of the major threats for business corporations in the 21st century. IT executives looking for effective support on beating cyber threats have a fantastic opportunity before them come May. Leading IT support company Techmedics® has announced to host a cybersecurity-themed casino night in Downtown Los Angeles in the coming month that will empower participants with smart strategies on successfully tackling cybersecurity issues.
The Casino Royale Security Event by Techmedics™ is scheduled for May 19, 2018, from 6 p.m. The event will be held at The Collection Building, 9th floor @ 527 West 7th Street, Los Angeles CA 90014. The program is especially geared towards cybersecurity professionals, C-Level Executives and IT Executives of large corporations. Sponsoring security partners include Cisco, IBM®, LG, and Axis® Communications. Partners will showcase their best security products for cybersecurity management.
“Big firms hold a massive volume of confidential databases and a single cyber-attack can result in a mammoth loss for them, amounting to millions of dollars. Cybersecurity at this level is very different and more complex than small business security measures. We know many top-level executives are looking for guidance on tackling cybersecurity risks and our upcoming Casino Royale Security Event is especially dedicated to them. We are looking forward to an enlightening evening where cybersecurity pros, and executives from large firms can have a meaningful discussion on protecting their companies from the menacing cyber bullies”, stated James Moon, the spokesperson of Techmedics®.
Themed on James Bond and Casino Royale, the upcoming Techmedics® Security Event promises to be a fun-filled evening amidst amazing poker, craps and blackjack sessions. Participants will also be treated with awesome drinks, delicious hors d’oeuvres and cool prizes. Each ticket includes $5,000 worth playing chips (no monetary value).
While asked about the casino theme for the security event, Mr. Moon noted –
“We got the idea to host a cybersecurity event that would be fun, but also bring value. We wanted to create a platform where attendees will be able to learn how other organizations are tackling their issues. Resisting this change in the cybersecurity world is a lot like gambling as well, so we found it to be a good theme.”
The event will have participants donning the hat of none other than the charismatic 007 who is on a mission to take down the evil hackers. The participant must defeat the dealers in a high-stake casino game of his/her choice. Then he/she will be elevated to the next mission where they will have a wonderful opportunity to learn about advanced and effective cyber security strategies. The Casino Royale Security Event presents an amazing platform for the participants to have a solid conversation on security with peers and gain invaluable insights from real organizations across the Greater Los Angeles area.
“Our Casino Royale Security Event will enable you to update yourself with the latest insights and trends in physical & cyber security over a drink or at the poker table with a new friend. We will also share amazing creative ideas on how to wage a strong war against hackers and protect our businesses.”
